Welcome to West Yadkin Baptist Church. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed. Masks and hand sanitizer are available as you enter the sanctuary , if you would like, but are not required.

Family Friendly

No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at West Yadkin Baptist Church and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our worship service, we normally have care available for infants and children where your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time. However, due to Covid restrictions and social distancing guidelines, our infant and childrens classes are temporarily suspended. We do provide a safe room to take your infant or child during the service, if you feel the need, where you will still be able to view the service.

Sermon

From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching. The focus of each sermon is built around the point of the Biblical text being addressed.

Biblical Teaching

Here at West Yadkin Baptist Church, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.

West Yadkin Baptist Church is a group of regular people who want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him.

What Are Your Services Like?

Whether it is through the music, prayer or preaching, God's word is at the center of all of our gatherings. Each service includes a time of prayer, preaching and music. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not the pastor's ideas, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ.

Where Should I Park?

We have a large parking lot on the side of the church building, next to our fellowship hall and their are handicap spots near the front door of the sanctuary.

Where Should I Go When I Enter The Building?

We have greeters located at the doors who would be happy to help you find where you need to go.

Do You Provide Childcare?

Normally, there are clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers provided during church service. However, due to social distancing guidelines, these have been temporarily suspended. We do offer a safe room inside the sanctuary where you can take your infant or child, if you choose, where you can still view the service.

What Should I Wear?

We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in the range of business casual to blue jeans.
